Rand Aid’s Ron Smith Care Centre staff and residents have joined the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge.
The Lyndhurst-based care centre has had a challenging time over the past few months. However, its elderly and largely frail residents embraced the restrictions necessitated by the coronavirus pandemic with grace and the staff – especially the nursing staff – worked tirelessly to curb the spread of infections, care for the vulnerable and keep spirits up.
Local artist Master KG’s ‘Jerusalema’ has become a global sensation and videos of people dancing to the hit are spready positivity far and wide.
Leanie Bessinger, who compiled the video, says unity and light relief are much needed in the world right now and challenges other care centres to join the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge.
