Thornhill Manor retirement village’s first fete since the lifting of Covid-19 regulations was a roaring success, with all food stalls selling out of their goods!
“It was a spectacular sunny day and our residents were enthusiastic and positive that fete was going to be great,” says Thornhill Manor deputy Manager Jackie Scott.
All of the food stalls sold out. There were 30 outside stalls and 13 Thornhill Manor ones.
“A large number of our residents contributed to making the fete the success that it was,” says Jackie.
“All the funds raised go directly into our village fund to purchase much-needed equipment and for projects chosen by the residents,” she adds.
