Thornhill Manor retirement village’s Easter Bonnet Parade was hotly contested, with 15 residents going all out to take top honours.
Held on 6 April, the annual parade had its best turnout yet, says the retirement village’s deputy manager Jackie Scott.
The competition was judged by residents, who watched the contestants strut their stuff on the ‘stage’ and model their creative and spectacular designs.
Congratulations to Lynda Hopkins (prettiest design), Vicky Keenan (most appropriate) and Brenda Goodhall (funniest hat), who all won a lovely prize donated by residents.
