Thembalami Care Centre and the Max Ordman Deaf Association’s (MODA) monthly birthday bash in June was a festive affair, made extra special because Phyllis Carrick, one of the people whose birthdays were toasted, celebrated her 100th birthday on June 24.
Bernadene Theron was the sponsored entertainer and staff and residents were quick to clap to the beat or take to the dance floor.
