We are hiring: Care Services Manager

We are looking for an experienced, professional and compassionate Care Services Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across our care service facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of the care function.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality resident care in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote positive relationships and effective communication with residents, families, visitors and other stakeholders.
  • Lead, manage and develop care staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
  • Oversee operational and capital budgets and ensure responsible financial management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organisational and resident-care outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key healthcare professionals, including doctors, psychologists and podiatrists.
  • Oversee human resource processes within the care centres.
  • Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
  • Develop, review and implement policies and procedures in line with legislation, regulations and healthcare best practice.
  • Coordinate and facilitate nursing and care audits, ensuring that findings are addressed and improvements implemented.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the quality and delivery of care services and overseeing on the job training.

Minimum Requirements

  • Professional Nurse qualification/ Qualification in Healthcare Services Management or a related field.
  • Management Development Programme/Course or equivalent management qualification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years’ management experience in a hospital, clinic, residential care or similar healthcare environment.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, healthcare operations and financial/budget management.
  • Sound knowledge of healthcare best practices, quality assurance, infection prevention and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant administrative and healthcare software systems.
