Kicks, slides, pivots and points abounded at Thembalami Care Centre on April 24 when visiting line dancers came to entertain the residents. The dancers have been practising together at Dickie Fritz in Dowerglen for two years. “The residents enjoyed the beats and a few of them joined in,” says care centre social worker Lara Hurwitz. “The staff were also given a few lessons – and then gave the dancers a run for their money!”
