Elphin Lodge helps kids delight in Easter

Elphin Lodge retirement village played Easter bunny on 7 April, when residents and a staff member visited Edenvale Child Welfare to deliver a hamper of Easter eggs to the children.

Three Elphin Lodge residents – Dee Friedrichs, Evy Nathaniel and Jenny Sella – and Elphin Lodge employee Neveshree Stroebel delivered the hamper, consisting of 23 boxes of Easter eggs, which were very kindly donated by residents and staff. They also enjoyed spending some time with the children.

Due to bad weather on the day, the Easter egg hunt, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children, took place on 11 April.
