Manicures go down a treat at Thembalami and MODA

Jason’s Angels, a registered non-profit organisation focussing on assisting women and children in need, ensured a little pampering for Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association residents on 22 May.

Residents were treated to a manicure by Linda Reddy Stylist and Image Wellness, who brought two of her assistants with her, Wezi Chirwa and Tammy Mpatula. They all enjoyed chatting with the residents during the spoils.

They were joined by Mrs Grand SA Finalist, Lee-Ann Naidoo, who also enjoyed her time with the residents, particularly Betty Ross, who hopes to also soon meet Lee-Ann’s children.

Lee-Ann baked cupcakes, which residents enjoyed with their tea or coffee.

Jason Behrens, the founder of Jason’s Angels, also donated clothing, one box of deodorant and one box of hand cream for residents who don’t have the financial means to buy their own toiletries.
