Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre residents recently returned to Willowbrook Montessori Preschool in Buurendal to spend time with the children.
The care centre and school teamed up last year to initiate an intergenerational project between elders and the younger generation.
“Our residents and the children look forward to spending time with each other,” says Thembalami manager Esme van der Walt. “It’s so good for their well-being.”
The elders and children had tons of fun playing and baking!
