Christmas lunch spreads goodwill

On Christmas day, some Thornhill Manor Retirement Village residents who might have otherwise been alone gather to enjoy great food, treats, beautiful music and warm company.

“Fellowship with others is important for emotional and psychological well-being as it brings strength and laughter. We will continue with this initiative as a tradition to fight against loneliness and bring smiles to our residents,” says village social worker Karen Griessel.
