Ron Smith Care Centre was bursting with Valentine’s Day spirit as all six wings hosted their own heartwarming celebrations.
Each wing was decked out in charming red or pink hearts and flowers, and residents enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter and love.
Excitement filled the air with a ‘find your partner’ challenge or a lively game of charades, keeping everyone entertained.
The sweetest surprise? Each resident received a delightful little box of Geldhof chocolates!
The festivities continued with a tea-time treat – fluffy cream scones with strawberry jam, declared ‘delicious and such a treat’.
“Our residents and staff truly embraced the Valentine’s spirit in their ‘home’, making the morning one of joy, love, warmth and laughter,” said Debbie Christen, the care centre’s recreational and training services facilitator.
