Thembalami Care Centre and the Max Ordman Deaf Association marked their family day in grand style on 22 February.
According to the care centre’s deputy manager, Elize Raath, many families attended and indulged in delicious treats, including cake, tea, hamburgers and chips that were available for purchase.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Ian Nel serenaded the crowd with his guitar, while Berenice Crause played the keyboard.
“The families enjoyed the background music as they played beautiful pieces, creating a warm and welcoming ambience,” says Elize.
“Everyone had a wonderful time spending the day together,” she adds.
