Elvis provides some relaxation at Thembalami

Relaxation therapy is being enjoyed by Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association residents three Fridays a month.

Elvis Edemba runs group sessions for residents who are feeling agitated or anxious and individual sessions, during occupational therapy, for those suffering from severe anxiety.

“Our residents are really benefitting from the relaxation therapy, which is helping them to feel calmer,” says Thembalami and MODA manager, Esme van der Walt.

Elvis offers group and individual relaxation therapy and hypnotherapy in and around Edenvale and Sandton. He also does house calls on request.
