Senior Central Services Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Rand Aid Association is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Central Services Manager to lead and oversee our central support functions, including catering, laundry, maintenance, and Health & Safety. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and a safe, well-maintained environment that supports the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all maintenance and refurbishment projects across facilities
  • Oversee catering, laundry, and workshop operations to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Manage stores, inventory, and asset control systems
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and standards
  • Supervise, develop, and support central services teams
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple sites
  • Manage external contractors and service providers

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field
  • At least 10 years’ experience in facilities or maintenance management
  • Proven leadership experience at a senior level
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations
  • Experience in healthcare, NGO, hospitality, or retirement environments will be advantageous
  • Experience in inventory or stores management is beneficial
