Spreading joy: Pastor Roy Ewards brings cheer to birthday bash

Pastor Roy Ewards once again brought joy and laughter to the residents of Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association (MODA) at their birthday celebration on 19 February.

Five residents marked their special day this month, with the eldest, Alexander Hayes, turning an impressive 90 years old on February 28.

On the other end of the celebration, Cecielia Rottcher (66) was the youngest birthday honouree. A MODA resident, Cecielia was overjoyed by the festivities – so much so that staff and fellow residents couldn’t help but sing for her at every turn!

It was a special occasion filled with music, laughter and heartwarming moments, proving that birthdays are meant to be celebrated – no matter your age.
