Laughter, love, and a touch of pampering

More than 50 mothers – and a few proud fathers – gathered for a heartwarming celebration of motherhood that turned into a morning to remember.

Maggie Bold, who hosts Thornhill Manor’s regular tea mornings, ensured the May 29 event was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Maggie went all out with beautiful décor and an impressive spread of eats, lovingly contributed by residents. Not a single crumb remained, which was a true testament to the success and enjoyment of the morning.

Adding to the festive spirit was a special raffle titled ‘Pamper and Wine’, perfectly suited to the occasion. The lucky winner was Janet Fraser, who was thrilled to receive the indulgent prize.

Laughter and lively conversation filled the air, with a joyful atmosphere that was contagious. As always, the Thornhill Manor community shone in its warmth and friendliness, especially in making newer residents feel truly welcome.
