Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre was recently visited by five representatives from Merieux NutriSciences, which donated various items to its occupational therapy department.
In addition to donating craft materials, Merieux NutriSciences also donated baking mixes and other goodies and brought cake and biscuits for the residents to enjoy.
Six staff members from the company also wrote letters to the residents.
“We gave the letters to six of our residents who are mainly bedridden. They uplifted their spirits, making them feel very special and loved,” says Esme van der Walt, Thembalami’s manager.
“Thank you to Merieux NutriSciences for their wonderful donations and bringing joy to our residents,” she adds.
