Children’s ministry brings joy to Thembalami Care Centre

Thembalami Care Centre and the Max Ordman Deaf Association were filled with joy and cheer on Saturday, December 7, when the children’s ministry of Lombardy East Methodist Church paid a heartwarming visit.

The young visitors brought festive cheer, delicious cake and beautiful Christmas cards. They serenaded the residents with joyful songs and energetic dances, filling the room with warmth and laughter. The children also lent a helping hand by assisting with serving cake and coffee.

“This heartwarming gesture brought smiles to the faces of the residents and staff, reminding everyone of the true spirit of Christmas,” says Esme van der Walt, the Thembalami manager.
