Funnyman Tim Plewman delights audiences with ‘Epilogue’

Laughter and heartfelt moments filled the Tarentaal Village hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 13, 14 and 15, as Tim Plewman’s one-man show, Epilogue, took to the stage. Both performances were well attended, leaving audiences both entertained and deeply moved.

“The show was absolutely out of this world. Tim is an exceptionally talented actor, and his performance left us all with so much to think about long after the curtain fell,” says Tammy Neilson, Tarentaal’s manager.

“While Tim was undoubtedly the highlight, another truly heartwarming moment was seeing Rand Aid residents, their friends and family laughing, smiling and enjoying themselves. The joy in the room was unforgettable and made the event even more special. Thank you, Tim, for blessing us with your gift of storytelling and humour.”

Inyoni Creek’s Jenny Tonkin says: “It was brilliant! Tim has definitely not lost his magic. A very professional, entertaining show that took us all back many years.  Laughter is good for the soul, and I left there feeling that we need to do this more often.”

“It is a brilliant show – covering life and love and facing changes,” says Rand Aid’s Amanda Diener.

Epilogue, co-written with advertising veteran John Smeddle, is both hilarious and poignant. Exploring themes of life, death, friendship, memory and growing older, the show combines storytelling, humour, and emotional depth in a performance that is profoundly personal yet universally relatable.

The performances offered a perfect antidote to year-end stress and a lovely gateway to the festive season.
