Inyoni artists celebrate their creativity

Inyoni painting group

As Rand Aid’s Inyoni Creek retirement village is full of artists and aspiring painters, an art and painting group has been setup for artists to meet, exchange ideas, assist each other and paint together.

The group’s first art and painting session was held recently and thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.

The group, which meets at Inyoni Creek’s clubhouse every Thursday from 14h30 to 17h00, is being co-ordinated by Inyoni resident Mel Stamelman.

Participants supply their own materials and equipment and painters must bring their own easel. Rand Aid supplies trestle tables, plastic chairs and sanitiser, and all Covid-19 protocols are observed.

Café on the Creek is open for refreshments.

For more information and to book your spot in the group, contact Mel at 082 454 4043.
