Thornhill enjoys some festive cheer

Thornhill Manor retirement village recently held a Christmas market in its hall (socially distanced with masks and sanitiser) where some of its residents displayed their wares, all made by themselves.

“The objective of the market was to assist residents to supplement their income, but also for those residents who don’t go out much or are not very mobile to have the opportunity to do some shopping for their family and friends for Christmas,” says Thornhill Manor’s deputy manager Jackie Scott.

There were nine stalls inside the hall and a garden stall outside.
