Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association residents are gearing up for their fete, which takes place on 28 October.
The residents have already started painting beautiful bags and making earrings, bangles and other beaded items, blankets, beanies and bed socks.
Visitors can browse through the White Elephant and a range of other delightful stalls and snap up some great bargains on books; clothing; vegetables, herbs and plants, among others, and relax and unwind in the tea garden that will have a variety of tasty baked treats on offer.
There will also be boerewors rolls, vetkoek and mince and pancakes available, to name a few!
Members of the public can support the care centre by donating any unwanted items (glass; Tupperware; blankets; electrical appliances and good, second-hand clothing etc.) that can be sold at the White Elephant stall.
Members of the public who would like to have a stall can contact Elize Raath at 010 534 8771.
Thembalami is located in Victoria Road, Lombardy East.
