Good things happen in Thornhill Manor’s Man Cave

People who know their way around a workshop are a blessing! Just ask the librarians at Thornhill Manor, who have a convenient new storage space in the community centre for the library’s DVDs.

This is thanks to  Andy Tasker, John van Leeuwen, Al Zylstra and other members of the village’s Man Cave.

“All the DVDs have now been moved there, apart from the children’s section movies that will remain near the library,” says Jenny Carliell, a village resident who has steered the library and its volunteers for over 19 years.

Apart from their gratitude to the Man’s Cave member, Jenny says they are grateful to former long-time resident Ann Raats for her donation of a variety of DVDs.

“Remember,” says Jenny, “there is a huge selection of jigsaws and games for residents to enjoy in the cupboard in the Indaba Room.”

Thornhill Manor receptionist Shirley Whitehead chooses a DVD from the new shelves made by members of the village’s Man Cave.
