The St Peter’s Boys Prep Eco Committee recently donated dozens of spekboom plants to Tarentaal retirement village, as part of the school’s eco week. Inserted into each plant’s potting bag was an eco-themed picture that had been coloured-in by the students. Tarentaal manager Tammy Neilson says they were thrilled to receive these water-wise, nutritious plants that act as a carbon sponge.
