Ten-pin bowls outing a hit with MODA residents

Put a bowling ball in the hands of Lydia Elliot, a Max Ordman Deaf Association (MODA) resident, and you will see her transform into a mean machine.

Lydia showed fellow MODA residents and the centre’s occupational therapy team a thing or two during a June 3 outing to the Greenstone Mall Fun Company for a fun game of ten-pin bowls.

Although not all the participants share Lydia’s skill, everyone had a blast. The outing was finished off with a picnic of sandwiches, potato chips and other snacks.
