A wee bit of a fun time was had by all at Thornhill Manor’s St Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17, 2020. A meal that was proclaimed to be ‘absolutely delicious’ was prepared by Cookchill, which is the catering division of Rand Aid Association, the NPO that runs the Modderfontein retirement village. Saving the best for last was the village’s entertainment committee that served up a delightful dessert. Members of the committee were also responsible for the décor, which enlivened the venue with shades of shamrock green and glittering gold. Many residents wore themed outfits, which kept the blarney flowing. Pictured are Ann Raats and Robbie Vermont.
