About 30 youth and Sunday school teachers from the Lombardy East Methodist Church had Thembalami Care Centre and Max Ordman Deaf Association residents totally enthralled with their nativity play and Christmas carols when they visited the care centre recently.
“They also gave our residents Christmas cakes and tea and each resident got a personalised Christmas card, which brought much joy to them all,” says Esme van der Walt, Thembalami’s manager.
The event was organised and coordinated by Asanda Mdungelo.
