‘Name the song’ and other fun at Thornhill Manor

Scrumptious eats, entertainment and fun games lifted the spirits of residents of Rand Aid’s Thornhill Manor Retirement Village recently.

The occasion was a visit by AVBOB Edenvale, arranged by Marie O’Neil, who arrived with other team members to visit the residents.

They brought with them delicious chocolate mousse cakes for residents to enjoy.

Their contracted consultant, Anza Naude, who is also a performer, came along and had the residents singing, dancing and laughing, with her beautiful voice, dress-up antics and jokes.

“Anza sang a few songs, which residents had to identify. Winners received a 2024 AVBOB diary. There were also pens, calendars and other items given to interested residents.

“It was the most enjoyable and entertaining tea morning that residents have had in a while,” says village deputy manager Jackie Scott. “The tea morning was a huge success, with six happy Lotto draw winners too.”
