Thornhill Manor resident Charlotte da Silva did her bit for Mandela Day by making warm wool beanies, which were donated to the Servest team that so beautifully takes care of the Rand Aid retirement village’s extensive gardens. Charlotte made 11 beanies, one for each of the village gardeners. “A huge thank you to Charlotte from all the gardeners and from the Thornhill Management office staff, for thinking of others, especially with the cold spell upon us. It is greatly appreciated,” says Thornhill Manor deputy manager Jackie Scott. Pictured with Charlotte is Servest supervisor Jeffrey Bodirwa, wearing his beanie.
