Tarentaal retirement village’s dads denied the pleasure of visits from their loved ones on Father’s Day as a result of the national coronavirus lockdown still had a moment of sweetness, when village staff and the members of the residents’ committee handed out a chocolate bar to all male residents on Friday, June 19. Village receptionist Shelly Joy hands a chocolate to Hilton Talmage, who was hard at work making beanies for babies, using a ring knitting loom. Hilton donates the beanies to various charity organisations.
