Entertainment is being put back in the picture at Thornhill Manor after a long Covid-enforced dry spell.
On 5 November, residents got their grey matter working when quiz queen Lynne Wardle and entertainment committee chairperson Janet Colville presented a picture quiz.
“Our entertainment committee is determined that residents enjoy the slight relaxation of Covid restrictions in the village, while maintain Covid safety protocols,” says Thornhill Manor deputy manager Jackie Scott.
Fun was had by all. Jackie says the residents always look forward to Lynne’s quizzes as they are fun filled, entertaining and stimulating. Attendees brought their own finger snacks and enjoyed the evening held in the community centre very much.
Syd Gosher’s team was victorious, and took home Spur vouchers, which were donated. There was a booby prize of boxes of Smarties for Lynda Hopkins’ team.
