Tarentaal village’s Valentine’s love story

Tarentaal village residents Andreas and Maria Ferencz, who have been married for 28 years, baked delicious and beautifully iced heart-shaped biscuits that were handed to residents as a gift at the Rand Aid retirement village’s Valentine’s tea on February 13. “They are a lovely couple who set an example of true love,” says Tarentaal’s deputy manager Laetitia Goosen. The event included live entertainment that had residents singing and dancing along to songs from across the ages. Delicious eats and tea and coffee were also served.
