Thornhill Manor gets stretching after lockdown

South Africa has reached level one of the national lockdown and Thornhill Manor’s residents are raring to go.

The retirement village’s weekly exercise classes resumed under lockdown level two and are now back in full swing.

“It is so important to stretch and keep your body moving. The class is for able and less able residents,” says Thornhill Manor deputy manager Jackie Scott, who adds that the participants find the benefits exponential.

“The classes are built around the residents’ age and capabilities,” she says.

If you are interested in joining the Thornhill Manor community and purchasing a two- or three-bedroom unit on a life right basis, please contact Jackie or Esme at 011 608 2480 or email jscott@randaid.co.za.
